Founded in March 2009, the institute has 13 researchers, 3 associate professors and 10 lecturers; 2 with doctorate, 10 with master's degree. Based on the modern art design concept of artistic accomplishments and technical quality, it takes depth studies on principle and skill of art design and network multimedia technology. Its research fields are new media advertising art, new media network animation design and production research.
