Chengdu University of Information Technology is among the first universities to have social work undergraduate education. We have accumulated experience in social work professional training, and have formed our own advantages and characteristics in the past ten years. we got master's degree authorization in 2014. The Master program has15 staffs: 11 professors, 4 associate professors; among them 8 with doctorate, 5 with Master degree and one Sichuan Province Academic and Technical Leader Candidate. The program has presided and participated in a number of national, provincial research projects, published more than 10 books, hundreds of papers.
 Concerning about the use of technology in social work services, and development of innovative products, innovative services model, the innovative service programs, We have high level and diversified international cooperation and exchange with universities in France, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
  Having been committed to serve the local economic and social development, the Master program has built a multi-channel and regular service platform. It established regular cooperation mechanism with Sichuan Provincial Civil Affairs Department, Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau and several other local Civil Affairs departments. Through these school-bureau cooperation, the students get involved in the teachers' research programs.
